  • November 17: 15-year old Michalis Kaltezas is shot dead by Police officer Athanasios Melistas during rioting marking the 12th anniversary of the attack on the Athens Polytechnic Institute.
  • November 26: Officer Ioannis Georgakopoulos is killed when a bomb explodes near a MAT bus by the Hilton Hotel in downtown Athens. The Revolutionary Organization 17 November assume responsibility.
